Hello,

My name is Jim Newton and I am based in Manchester (UK). I have been interested in aviation for many years and since 1987 I have been lucky enough to travel to many places in pursuit of rare & unique aircraft scattered around the globe.

At the present time (January 2010) the count is 70 countries and 36 of the United States. I have preferences for wrecks and relics and aircraft of the former Soviet Union.

The reason for creating this website is the fact that I have many thousands of rare aircraft slides & digital images taken on my travels over the last twenty years or so and I would like to share with you all.
